On September 10, the world came together to observe World Suicide Prevention Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness about mental health and the importance of valuing life. This year’s theme, “Live—There’s a World to Discover,” invites us to pause and reflect on the countless reasons that make life meaningful.

At Radians School, our primary and elementary students participated in a heartfelt activity to connect with this message. Each child was asked to think about their most important treasures—the people, pets, and special things that bring them joy every day. Their answers were filled with sincerity and love: parents, grandparents, siblings, friends, pets, and even simple but powerful moments that make them feel safe and happy.
By identifying these treasures, our students learned that life is full of gifts worth cherishing, even in the smallest details. This activity also served as a reminder to our entire community that fostering gratitude, empathy, and appreciation for life can strengthen resilience and hope.

As we commemorate this important day, let us commit to creating supportive and understanding environments where every child, teenager, and adult feels valued and heard. Together, we can remind one another that no one is ever alone—and that there is always a world waiting to be discovered.
