August marked a powerful start to the 2025–2026 school year at Radians School, filled with moments that showcased our community’s dedication to safety, innovation, and student excellence.

Faculty and staff began the month with essential CPR Certification and Active Shooter Preparedness Trainings, reinforcing our shared commitment to creating a safe environment where every student can thrive. These sessions highlighted the importance of readiness and responsibility—values that extend beyond the classroom.

In the spirit of innovation, our teachers and students embraced new horizons through the adoption of an AI-powered learning platform. In just two months, more than 1,100 student outputs were created, proving that artificial intelligence is not only a tool but also a bridge to the future of learning. Teacher champions like Prof. Elizabeth Rivera, Prof. Carlos Maldonado, and Prof. Christian Cartagena are inspiring colleagues and students alike with creative, forward-thinking approaches.

This month also brought moments of pride as Jan Lugo Hernández and Andrés Méndez Roque received the prestigious College Board National Recognition Award, a testament to their hard work and academic excellence. Meanwhile, parents deepened their connection to student learning during our Annual Singapore Math Workshop, stepping into their children’s shoes to explore problem-solving strategies.

Adding to the richness of August, our students led and shined:

• Daviana Pérez (11th grade) shared her inspiring “Domina tu mente: El modelo CRECER” talk, empowering peers to turn challenges into resilience.
• Troop 453G excelled at the Guajataka Scout Reservation, earning the Cruz del Sur and Sabores y Saberes awards.
• High schoolers at The Summ: Student Experience Summit explored future careers through hands-on, real-world learning with over 30 universities.

August set the tone for a year defined by safety, curiosity, leadership, and collaboration. At Radians, we continue to prepare our students not only for academic success but for life.
