This past weekend, Troop 453 from our school embarked on an adventure that will stay with us for a long time. We headed to Camp Guajataka, a magical place in San Sebastián that has witnessed the growth of generations of scouts in Puerto Rico.
From the very beginning, excitement filled the air. Our scout’s dove into nature with curiosity and respect, discovering trails, towering trees, and the little wonders that only reveal themselves when you truly take the time to look. It was a chance to reconnect with what really matters—far from screens and daily routines.

As night fell, the sky became our starry ceiling. The astronomy activity had us gazing upward in awe, learning about constellations and planets, and remembering just how vast and beautiful the universe is.
Campfires were the heart of the experience. Laughter, songs, stories, and quiet moments of reflection brought us together as a scout family. And during the day, adrenaline kicked in with kayaking, archery, and shooting. Each challenge was a chance to grow, to face fears, and to discover strengths we didn’t know we had.

This weekend wasn’t just about fun. It was about growth, friendship, and living the essence of scouting. We witnessed each scout take another step on their journey to becoming a leader, a responsible citizen, and a better version of themselves.
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the staff at Camp Guajataka. Your dedication, patience, and care made this experience possible. Thank you for guiding our youth, for keeping them safe, and for being part of their growth.
Until next time, Guajataka you’ll always be part of our story.
